The 2012 Toyota Yaris, coming in at a low base price and plenty of miles per gallon, is taking on the youth market. Every student needs a car to get to and from those college courses, or for picking up friends and getting to that internship.

The four-cylinder, entry-level vehicle comes with a large array of entertainment options. These, along with its price ranging from $14,115 to $17,200, are being touted in the latest ads: "Yaris! It's a car!" reads one small ad with "bright, cheery letters" as though written by a child.¹
