Starting last February, Toyota invited consumers to share their ideas on how to apply one of five specific Toyota technologies - Total Human Model for Safety [T.H.U.M.B.S.], Solar Power Ventilation System, Hybrid Synergy Drive [HSD], Advanced Parking Assist, and Touch Tracer Display - to a cutting-edge invention used outside of the auto industry. Approximately four months later, they had a total of 4,000 entries.

With gas prices continuing to increase, electric vehicles (EV) are becoming more and more attractive to autobuyers. They're clean. They don't require any gas. And they offer a fresh, futuristic look. The only thing that is unattractive about the EV's is the fact that their power cells need to be charged.
