Toyota Motor Corporation has begun taking pre-orders on the new 2012 Plug-in Prius.  There is one site that they have created to handle customer orders.    If you want to be one of the first to own the Plug-in Prius, and potentially bypass what may be a long wait list, Toyota strongly recommends that you pre-order through this site.

The Prius V wagon hasn't hit the market yet, but based on expected demand, Toyota is already nearly doubling production.  

Toyota has been talking long enough about new Prius models: Longer, wider and taller than the current Prius sedan.  The upcoming Prius V wagon has the ambitious calling to not only deliver up to legendary fuel economy, but to upend the status quo in the tall-wagon segment; for starters?
