2025 Toyota Tundra Towing Capacity near Quincy, MA
2025 Toyota Tundra shown above with available features.
You’ll be thoroughly impressed with the 2025 Toyota Tundra if you’re specifically searching for a vehicle that’s got the towing capacity you need for handling heavy-duty tasks in Quincy. We at Toyota of Braintree have put together this short guide to showcase this model’s impressive engine, towing prowess, and extensive array of user-friendly technology features!
i-FORCE MAX Hybrid Motor
The performance of the 2025 Toyota Tundra stems from an electrified i-FORCE MAX hybrid engine that sits beneath the hood and is always ready to get off to a fast start when you put the pedal to the metal. A steady 437 horsepower and 585 lb.-ft. of torque are provided by the 3.4L twin-turbo V6 and electric motor that work together in tandem, so you won’t have any problem keeping up with the competition on Route 3. The powertrain also includes a Stop and Start System1 to reduce the gas emissions that it produces when you’re sitting idle. Lastly, we can’t forget to highlight the fact that the electric motor can bring maximum torque at 2400 rpm.
Towing
When you hook up a trailer to your 2025 Toyota Tundra, you’ll be able to haul it along behind you without any issues thanks to this model’s 12,000-lb. maximum towing capacity2. There are a few different elements that are responsible for this high degree of performance from the Tundra. First, its boxed steel frame is vital for the sturdiness that it brings to the table, which is integral in maintaining a firm stance to minimize swaying. Along with that, the load-leveling rear height air suspension is another important piece of the puzzle for its ability to keep your riding height at an optimal range even when you have cargo weighing down your truck. Lastly, we of course can’t forget about the i-FORCE MAX 3.4L hybrid engine and electric motor that team up to provide you with the raw strength that's needed for towing.
Technology
A number of different technological features help take the 2025 Tundra’s already impressive towing capabilities to an even more remarkable level. When you’re departing from Caddy Memorial Park, the available Trailer Backup Guide system with Straight Path Assist3 can help you avoid hitting any obstacles or hazards that you might otherwise not see. Once you’re well on your way to your next destination, the standard Trailer-Sway Control4 will do its part to keep your cargo properly aligned with your vehicle. If these features still aren’t enough to fully grip your interest, then there’s also the optional Integrated Trailer Brake Controller5 that’ll help you keep even more of a handle on your truck. To see what other great systems the 2025 Toyota Tundra has under its command, visit Toyota of Braintree during our business hours!

1. Before towing, confirm Stop and Start Engine System is disengaged.
2. Never tow beyond a vehicle’s published towing capacities. Before towing, confirm your vehicle and trailer are compatible, hooked up and loaded properly and that you have any necessary additional equipment. The maximum you can tow depends on base curb weight plus the total weight of any cargo, occupants, and added vehicle equipment. Follow all instructions in your Owner’s Manual.
*3. The backup camera does not provide a comprehensive view of the rear area of the vehicle/trailer. When using straight path assist, driver should confirm clearance and is still responsible for safe operation. See Owner’s Manual for limitations.
**4. Trailer-Sway Control (TSC) is an electronic system designed to help the driver maintain vehicle control under adverse conditions. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Factors including speed, road conditions, weather and driver steering input can all affect whether TSC will be effective in preventing a loss of control. See Owner’s Manual for additional limitations and details.
***5. Integrated Trailer Brake Controller is an electronic system that operates in tandem with a trailer equipped with an electric braking system.
