What are my Options for the End of My Lease?

Whether you leased your Toyota or Lexus from us or not, we are happy to help you navigate through the choices you have at the end of your lease.  The Toyota closed-end lease gives you options that you will certainly find satisfactory!   You could:

1.  Turn your vehicle in and Lease or Purchase a new Toyota.   This would allow you to enjoy a brand new vehicle again, with a fresh new warranty, 2 more years of complimentary service, and all of the new safety and comfort features that come with a new Toyota.   The disposition fee that is normally associated with turning a lease in will be waived, and you may even have a “Loyalty Rebate” in the transaction to help lower the payment on the new vehicle.    

2.   Buyout/ Purchase your Existing vehicle.  Some people choose to buy out their existing vehicle.  In this case, we can help with the financing and paperwork, so there is no need to go back and forth to your bank, insurance company and the registry.   We can take care of everything, right down to providing new plates if you so desire.   We can even offer extended protection plans so your vehicle can remain under a comprehensive warranty.   

3.  Turn in your Vehicle.  Sometimes called “Grounding” a vehicle, you would be giving your vehicle back to Toyota Lease Trust.   If you are at the end of your lease, we can make this quick and simple, and can even cancel your plates with you right here.  

4.  Extend your Current Lease:  4) Request a lease extension: Toyota Lease Trust may, at their discretion, approve a request to extend your lease for a period of 3 months past the original maturity date. With the new vehicle shortages in the “post-Covid” years, this became an option many people needed to exercise.  We can assist with this process, particularly if you are waiting for a vehicle to come in after you have placed an order with us for a new car or truck.
