What is the Difference Between the Rav4 LE and Rav4 XLE

What is the difference between the Rav4 LE and the Rav4 XLE?

One of the most popular vehicles in Massachusetts is the Toyota Rav4.   The best-selling trims are the Rav4 LE and the Rav4 XLE.  What are the differences between the two trims?   There are a few differences that are important to know to make sure you are shopping for the right vehicle that meets your expectations and meets all of your needs.

Rav4 Le vs Rav4 XLE

The Rav4 LE, like the XLE, has a cloth interior.  However, the LE has a manually adjusted seat, while the XLE has a six-way power seat.

The Rav4 LE has 17-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, while the XLE has 17-inch alloy wheels.

The Rav4 XLE has a “Smart Key” with a push-button start, while the LE does not.

And although both cars have the patented Toyota Safety Sense with pedestrian detection and lane assist, the XLE has the Blind Spot Monitor package and Cross Traffic Alert as standard features.   (You can get those as an option on the LE, for an additional charge).

If you are looking for heated seats, a power liftgate, moonroof, or a heated steering wheel, those are only options available on the XLE trim and higher.  Those are not available from the factory on the LE.
